DISC developed the eye-catching header for Origins Plantscription Eye using SBS board for the outside wrap (essentially creating a thin walled folding carton) and added support by using a combination of e flute and SBS spacers inside to give it “body.” The bottom was die cut into a “tongue” shape with friction contours that fit into the slots on the store fixture.DISCalso added metal clips to hold the separate product description cards. The initial consideration was to use a rubber band type of material. However, ultimately a brown, cloth covered elastic string was pre-strung in random patterns across a substantial chip board frame. One ofDISC’s partners in China provided the materials and the company affixed it inside an SBS wedge-shaped carton.
